Shiny Relay is made by Shiny Gen. This website has no accounts, no ads and no cookies. This page lists everything the site keeps. Updated 9 October 2026.
Anonymous counts
When something happens on the page, it adds one to a daily total. Each total is just:

We never store your IP address, your browser details or anything that identifies you, and the totals cannot be traced back to a person.
Page view statistics
The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and load times without cookies and without fingerprinting or tracking you across sites.
The updates email (optional)
If you type your email into the sign-up box, we keep the address, the topics you signed up for (the launch of Shiny Relay and news about it) and the time you signed up. Shiny Gen stores it in a database on Cloudflare and uses it only to send those emails. We never sell or share it.
Every email has an unsubscribe link that deletes your address from the list. You can also write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Other services the page uses
- Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers it to you, like any web host.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces, so your browser asks Google for them.
